What Our Injection Molding Clients Say

Trusted by leading manufacturers across industries

"Alpine's injection molding precision is unmatched. They produced 500,000 dashboard components for our new vehicle line with zero defects. Their DFM analysis saved us 3 weeks in development time."

Marcus Weber

Marcus Weber

VP of Manufacturing, AutoTech Industries

"For our medical device housings, we needed ISO 13485 compliance and ±0.05mm tolerances. Alpine delivered on both counts. Their multi-shot molding capability allowed us to integrate soft-touch grips seamlessly."

Dr. Sarah Chen

Dr. Sarah Chen

Director of R&D, MedPrecision Corp

"We switched to Alpine for our connector housings after quality issues with our previous supplier. Their fiber-reinforced PA molding expertise and consistent quality have made them our sole source for critical components."

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our injection molding services

What is the minimum order quantity for injection molding?

Our minimum order quantity varies based on part complexity and tooling requirements. For production tooling, we typically recommend minimum runs of 1,000-5,000 parts to justify the tooling investment. However, we also offer prototype tooling for smaller quantities (100-500 parts) to validate your design before committing to full production.

How long does it take to create an injection mold?

Mold development time depends on complexity and location. Simple single-cavity molds can be completed in 4-6 weeks. Complex multi-cavity or family molds may take 8-12 weeks. We offer both European tooling (higher precision, faster delivery) and Asian tooling (cost-effective for high-volume production). Rush services are available for urgent projects.

What tolerances can you achieve with injection molding?

We maintain DIN-compliant tolerances of ±0.05mm for critical dimensions on precision parts. Standard tolerances are typically ±0.1mm to ±0.2mm depending on part size and material. Tighter tolerances may be achievable with secondary operations. Our quality team will review your drawings and confirm achievable tolerances during the quoting process.

Can you handle multi-material or multi-color parts?

Yes, we specialize in advanced molding techniques including 2K and 3K multi-shot molding for parts requiring multiple materials or colors. This allows us to combine hard and soft materials (like rigid housings with soft-touch grips) or create multi-colored parts without assembly or painting. We also offer insert molding and overmolding capabilities.

What materials do you work with?

We process a wide range of engineering thermoplastics including PA (Nylon 6, 6/6, 12), PP, ABS, PC, PC/ABS blends, ASA, HDPE, LDPE, POM, and TPE/TPU elastomers. We also work with fiber-reinforced materials (glass, carbon) for enhanced strength. Our material experts can help you select the optimal resin based on your mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance requirements.

Do you provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis?

Absolutely. Our engineering team provides comprehensive DFM analysis at no charge during the quoting process. We review your design for moldability, identify potential issues like undercuts or sink marks, recommend optimal wall thickness, suggest gate locations, and propose design modifications to improve quality and reduce costs. This service helps prevent costly tooling revisions later.

What certifications do you hold?

We are ISO 9001:2015 certified for quality management. Our facilities follow European manufacturing standards and can support customers requiring ISO 13485 (medical devices), IATF 16949 (automotive), or other industry-specific certifications. We maintain full traceability and documentation for regulated industries.

Can you handle both prototype and production volumes?

Yes, we support the entire product lifecycle. For prototypes, we offer rapid tooling solutions and can produce 50-500 parts for testing. For production, our machine range from 5t to 1000t allows us to efficiently manufacture from 5,000 to 5,000,000+ parts annually. We scale with your business as volumes grow.
